BABA-W (09988.HK) Chairman Joe Tsai recently opined at an expo that Asian companies can actively expand within Asia and into the European market aside from the US market, foreign media reported.
There are abundant business activities and opportunities for exchange within Asia, especially among East Asian countries and between East and Southeast Asia, and they are even extendable to South Asia, Tsai explained.
Tsai also described Europe as a valuable opportunity for Asian companies and warned that some governments are trying to destroy the bridges they have built between Asia and other regions around the world.
